In most Dubai villas the garage is the last space anyone thinks about, so it ends up with a single strip light, two sockets and no climate. It is also the easiest room in the house to turn into the best one. We design it, and we build the electrical side properly under our own trade licence.

What we build

From a bare parking bay to a room you show people

One person designs the space and is accountable for the build. The electrical is done to trade standard, not to whatever the villa contractor left behind. Common briefs:

Car collection room

Gallery lighting that shows paint properly, climate control, clean power and containment, and a finish that treats the cars as the display, not storage.

Gym, workshop or studio

Proper lighting levels, distributed power for equipment, ventilation and climate, and the flooring and wall treatment to match the use.

EV and everyday upgrade

EV charger and DEWA load increase, more circuits, better lighting and a tidy board. The quiet upgrade that makes the space usable all year.

Lighting design

Layered lighting designed for the actual use, whether that is a car finish under accurate colour temperature or a workshop that you can see detail in. Not one strip on the ceiling.

Power and distribution

Circuits sized for what will actually plug in, a board that is not already full, and containment run so it looks deliberate.

Climate

A Dubai garage runs hot. Cooling and ventilation specified so the room, and anything in it, survives the summer.

EV charging and DEWA load

Charger installation and the DEWA load increase application handled under a licensed electrical contractor.

Finishes and fit out

Flooring, wall treatment, storage and joinery coordinated to the design so the room reads as one piece of work.

A visit to your garage or parking space at no charge. You get a clear, costed direction before you spend anything.

  1. We look at the space, the board and the DEWA supply with you.
  2. You tell us what you wish the room could be.
  3. You get back what is possible, roughly what each level costs, and where the quick wins are. If it does not need us, we say so.

Garage design in Dubai

Can you turn a garage into a room in Dubai?

Yes. A garage or covered parking space can be designed and fitted out as a proper feature room: a car collection room, gym, workshop, lounge or home studio. We design the space and carry out the licensed electrical works, lighting, power, distribution, climate and EV charging under our own Dubai trade licence, and coordinate the finishes.

What does it cost?

It scales with the brief. A single EV charger install with a DEWA load increase starts from around AED 4,500. A full collection room fit out with designed lighting, climate and finishes is quoted per project after a site visit. The free Empty and Assess gives you a costed direction before you commit to anything.

Do you install EV chargers and handle the DEWA load increase?

Yes. Charger installation and the DEWA load increase application are part of the standard scope, carried out under a licensed electrical contractor by a Red Seal Class A Master Electrician.

Who designs it, and are you licensed to build it?

Karl Nylund designs it and holds a BICSI RCDD, a Red Seal Class A Master Electrician trade and 35 years in electrical construction. The electrical works are delivered under Red Seal Technical Services, a Dubai licensed contractor. One person is accountable for both the design and the build quality.
